This is an excellent question!
Here’s what you’ll need to get ready for our online lessons:
A device to join the meeting – It’s best to use a laptop, PC, or tablet, but if you don’t have one, you can use your mobile phone too.
A dictionary – paper or online, whichever you prefer.
A notebook – to make notes on grammar, vocabulary, and learning tips.
You can use a paper or digital notebook.
I’ll share more about how to organise your learning notes and my favourite digital options in a future article.
Access to our course book – I’ll send you a PDF file.
You can print it or use a digital version (I’ll also share an article about how to work effectively with PDFs).
Telegram (WhatsApp) chat – keep it open during the lesson. I often send new words and phrases there while we study.
A calm, quiet place – where you can concentrate without being distracted by work or other people.
Mute your phone for the class time – this helps you focus completely and get the most benefit from your lesson.
Our main communication will be on Telegram or WhatsApp (if you don’t have Telegram).
I’ll send you all lesson materials, homework, and new words or phrases we learn during the class.
You’ll also send your homework to me in the same chat.
I like to keep everything simple and clear.
Our online lessons take place on Google Meet using a permanent link.
I’ll send it to you once — just save it somewhere handy (for example, in your browser bookmarks).
You’ll use the same link for every lesson.
You can always ask me questions — during the lesson or later in our Telegram / WhatsApp chat.
I’ll happily explain again or send you an example.
Remember, I’m always here to help you!Â
I usually send the answers so you can check your work.
If something is still unclear or you have additional questions, we’ll discuss it during our lesson.
Homework that requires my feedback — such as writing or pronunciation tasks — should be sent to me one day before the class.
I’m always happy to hear about your online test results (you can send a screenshot) or how your homework went — whether you completed everything or still need more time.
Please try to let me know about your homework results before the class, so we can use our lesson time more efficiently.
